After years of working in the healthcare field Melinda realized her true passion was interior design.  She spent years attending design classes while devouring design books and magazines. Following the purchases and renovation of several homes, Melinda would handle all aspects of the interior design and renovation herself, often purchasing new furniture and textiles as well as sewing all her own soft furnishings.  In addition to designing her own homes Melinda found herself making slipcovers, and other soft furnishings for her friends which eventually grew into a full workroom business establishing a strong clientele.  Many of these clients often required design assistance and would call on Melinda for her talent and expertise, thus turning her business into a complete Interior Design business.  Through out the years Melinda found that she has an exceptional talent for kitchen and bathroom layout and design.  Today Melinda manages all kitchen and bath designs for Smith-Reynolds Interiors.  After living in the historic neighborhoods of Phoenix, Melinda now resides in North Scottsdale with her husband.

An Allied ASID designer, Kellie's passion for interior design began at a young age when she would turn her bedroom floor into her Barbie’s residence. Growing up she enjoyed antiquing and rearranging furniture with her mom. It was only natural that years later Kellie and her mom would team up to design client's homes together. After a career as a Pilates instructor and Personal trainer Kellie decided to go back to school to pursue her love for Interior design. While in school Kellie worked at a Scottsdale showroom and with local Interior Designers establishing relationships with designers, vendors and showrooms. From 2013 to 2015, Kellie worked as an Interior Designer for OZ Architects in North Scottsdale. There she collaborated as an Interior Designer on all facets of the interior design process from conceptual presentation to installation, aided with the selection of all FF&E and ran lead on purchasing & delivery coordination for multiple 10,000+ square foot residential projects. In 2015 Kellie joined forces with Melinda forming Smith Reynolds Interiors. Kellie has a passion for all aspects of design but finds the most inspiration in Mid-Century Modern design and loves giving new life to old furniture. While she is not creating exceptional spaces Kellie enjoys teaching Pilates and resides in Arcadia with her husband and two children.
